All Falcon API requests require a valid Bearer token in the Authorization header. You obtain this token from your API key, which you generate in the Falcon dashboard.
Never expose your API token in client-side code, public repositories, or anywhere it could be accessed by others.

Security best practices

To keep your API key secure:
  • Store tokens in environment variables rather than hardcoding them.
  • Never commit tokens to version control.
  • Use separate tokens for development and production environments.
  • Rotate tokens periodically to limit exposure if a key is compromised.
